Re: Amaryllis 2016
Umair, God bless you
I am no more a collector, about a quarter century ago I started as a collector and after a few years I started my own breeding programme. This I found was more gratifying then collection as no one had or could possess what I created. Every year my breeding programme kept changing according to what I wanted to develop. It is true that out of hundred seedlings of any year very few would be outstanding. I have stopped breeding from this year, last two years the goal was to create extra large flowers and before that it was creating doubles, It takes three to four years to see the result and if you get an extra ordinary the pleasure is indescribable.
These are seedlings of 2013 sowing, to most all may look charming but to me only 4-5 are worth keeping.
So Umair except for the first picture of Papillio all others are my own seedlings thus not available in the market.
I am thankful for your interest.
Arif

Re: Amaryllis 2016
Sir Arif. Thank You for your detailed reply. Please accept my suggestion and restart your beautiful adventure of breeding these beauties. One should not give up a thing when he is good at it. Your words have ignited a thought in me to start hybridizing amaryllises from next season IA. For you only a few are up to the mark but for me all are a treat to the eyes and soul.
My prayers for your good health, prosperity and success in future endeavours.
And if you want more of these prayers, Bribe me with your best bred varieties. Lolz
Thanks Again
Umair
