My California Giant Asters are also starting to bloom slowly. So far I have seen a dark frilly pink like your but darker pink and a bright pink with bright yellow center and a pale pink one like the one shown. I wonder what else will come up

I saw these at Dr AYKhan house. These asters were much bigger and erect than the normal asters. And instead of so much height, they were not leggy.

I don't know if the asters will be true from seed but if so I'll have lots of seeds to share when the season is over. I thought they'd be spring blooming but have only started blooming now that the weather is really warming up!

Brig saheb what is this amazing yellow flowered bush? Is it tolerating full sun these days?
