In addition to Taget and Marigold these self seeded plants are in full bloom.

Food for thought
We are slaves of tradition. All Spring flowers are sown in middle of September or later for flowers in Spring only.
I am sure many other flowers can also be sown early and staggering them to have flowers from November on wards.
Has anyone practiced it?

I think it will work. Even the small salvias and verbena I planted a week ago have sown some flowers (which I'm breaking off). My paperwhites from last year are looking like they'll bloom soon!,
