I guess there are two kinds of gardeners. Those who want a beautiful garden (whatever they consider beauty to be) and the others who although love beautiful gardens but are more interested in beautiful plants and enjoy them individually. I the second kind - I think - ie although a love beautiful gardens and work on making my garden beautiful, but I think I enjoy a beautiful or unique or fragrant plant more.

To me this Thunbergia without a black eye is more charming. It does not spread much Should display better on Umbrella like support only few feet high.

Is the plant a perennial or they die in summer. I can see many seed pods, do seeds germinate in Lahore and when should they be sown?

Its perennial....these are false pods, its a shy seeder...out of dozens only one might bear seed. Seed sowing in fall. Its my favorite plant....and only problem i have observed is fungus. Avoid over watering and water touching the foliage.

It grows through cutting as well

What more can I ask? At 7, I come out and occupy my favourite seat under the umbrella. At 7.30 I get my morning tae and supervise little jobs in the garden, enjoying the beauty of nature.
