What a great sight. Thanks for sharing Sir.

So it took three years to flower from seeds. Thats a long time but very rewarding, I believe.

It is a passion, keep sowing every year and you get a new crop every year. I started with 4 bulbs, collected some and started my own breeding programe, now I have thousands.

Kaleem, Those are the babies of my old selection, you will get a good variety.

In the present crop the aim was large flowers, the majority so far is large flowered, the biggest so far is 8 inches, in siblings from same pod you do get some almost alike.
Lets see what more is in store for me.Thanks
Arif

Eight inches across????? means, almost one foot....wow, isn't it a very big and beautiful eye catcher size. The bulbs you sent me will give me surprise too.......and I love surprises. I hope those will bloom next year.
Islamabad is very slow because there are no signs of buds with my amaryllis plants. Waiting anxiously

It can be forced to bloom before season by chill treatment but it will not bloom that season again.

Excellent! Some of the varieties are so good, especially the white with green center and the whites with red splashed in the last set of pictures.
