Stunning, outstanding, utterly beautiful, I think our forum members has the best collection among all the nurseries, I have never seen these varieties before and I have no words to praise the beauty of these flowers and Arif sb and AYkhan sb proved to be the best collectors of daylilies, seems to be like endless blooms.

How many varieties do you have in total and colours, sorry for being cheeky ;) but can I pinch few??????? Pleaseeeeeeeeeee

very tempting can’t resist

Kaleem Sb. have you attempted crossing them. I am disappointed only one plant of mine has three pods, rest have ignored it.

Looking at the prices of various vendors, I was puzzled; I could not co-relate the price with the beauty of the bloom.

How do you assess a Daylily? A foolish question, but I asked it in Garden Web Daylily Forum.
The best answer was WOTTI OHI SONY JARI MIAN NOO SONI LAGGAY.
One grows plants for his/her own pleasures so the best is the one YOU like the most.
There is another I ALSO HAVE IT syndrome so all new varieties are EXPANCIVE
Besides the beauty of the bloom, there are other factors that I would like to consider;
The varieties that go dormant in winter are more likely to die.
The semi-dormant ones do not proliferate as well as the ever green ones.
Repeat bloomers would be preferred.
Number of buds should also count.
What else ? :roll:

Seed pods are proof of fertility. Out of so many only a few produced pods so these should be selected for vegetative propagation if you want plants for seed production.The other part is beyond my scope.

Beautiful. Love the orange one in particular :)

I agree, "I ALSO HAVE IT syndrome" is a money consuming but difficult to avoid syndrome. In my humble view, secret to enjoying gardening over a prolonged period of time lies in getting out of this syndrome.
