Glorioza Lily
The tubers stored in moist cocopeat were planted as they started growing, are in bloom now, where as those left in the ground have not germinated yet. Even the tubers purchased from pride store are sitting dormant in pots.

The tubers left in ground nave sprouted and are about two feet tall but the tubers purchased from Pride store have still not sprouted. How about other members who also purchased some from Pride store?

Out of curiosity I could not resist emptying the pot, I found the tubers just as on purchase, having no indication of sprouting or rot. well they are back in the pot.

Where in Pakistan are they? Is the hot weather not effecting their growth?

I am in the same boat. Most probably when we bought them, they were just starting their dormancy. Even seed grown gloriosa blooms second year with no tension of cycle adjustment.Muhammad Arif Khan wrote:Out of curiosity I could not resist emptying the pot, I found the tubers just as on purchase, having no indication of sprouting or rot. well they are back in the pot.
