Datura

The seed was gifted by Izhar, sown in September has bloomed in mid April.
It is bewiching, releases fragrance only at sunset. flower lasted for two days.

It feel so good to see it blooming in your garden, the plant may get over 6 feet if in ground and with daily 10-15 blooms per plant.. its a hungry plant and readily benefits from added fertilizers..

This one is Datura grown from seeds ..not the brugmansia of which I had taken the cuttings.. the 6 cuttings of brugmansia are still fresh but no new growth yet..

Datura is Brugmansias cousin. Are they both easy perennials in Lahore? What are the flowering seasons?

Beautiful. Brig saheb can we expect the daturas to be perennials in Lahore?
