You ARE quite committed! The collecting and shedding process must've been quite long. Brig saheb is trying wood shavings from the carpenters. I'm using leaf mild for my roses but the expense will not be worth it next time.

y do you say the expense will not be worth it?? i got the idea of retaining the moisture in the ground from Arif sb when we told me he was using wood shavings to do it.

Leaf mold is much too expensive......compared to free tree bark and wood shavings waste. I'll be using the wood shavings once the leaf mold has decomposed and gone.

The lead mold will act as a good fertilizer as well I make my own leaf mold I think adding an extra should be good for the plants

I mix leaf mold with coco peat in equal proportion and use as mulch in summer. Wonderful result for moisture retention.

Coco peat adds to the cost of the mixture I have a lot of beds don't think it will be feasible for me

A gift from Mr Arif sb cant wait from them to bloom next season, Mr Arif sb is truly an expert in breeding Amaryllis.
