Congo Parrot are supposed to be the most intelligent parrots and learn quickly to talk. There are two types of African Grey Parrots, one being the Congo and the other Timneh. Umar Khan, which one is a better bet in your opinion as the there is huge difference between the prices.

The Congo parrot is more expensive due to its bigger size and some people say that Timneh Parrot is as intelligent as a Congo Parrot and more gentle. You would be knowing better. The price of a 5 month Congo Parrot these days must be atleast Rs 15,000 to Rs 20,000 and pricees of Macaw and Australian Parrots cross more than Rs 100,000. Parrot's have long lives and live upto 60 years. The most famous talking Parrot was a Congo Parrot named Einstein who could even mimic the sound of other animals.

P.S. Just for sake of curiousity do you also have preference for hunting/shooting? and the red cockscomb seem to be a dwarf variety.

Imran sb Congo is expensive its 3 months chicks ranges between 25000-30000. Timneh is round about 15,000. Timneh is not easily available as Congo is. Both are intelligent birds.
Blue & Gold Macaw ranges between 120,000 to 140,000.I personally don,t like the plumage of Grays. My favorite parrots are Alexandrine & Macaw.
Yes i used to hunt in past but now i don,t hunt as i did in past.I go for fishing still. The cocks comb is dwarf variety.Actually many people plant cocks comb with Zinnia thinking its a summer annual but its best blooming is in autumn.
