Garden Update 2013

Post by Farhan Ahmed »

My preparation for spring is almost over and its just the waiting and watering game now :-).......This season i have focused on landscaping to create a cottage garden feel with cool season annuals. Most of the annuals are self seed sown. Since January 1st we are receiving reasonable frost here in Risalpur. Here are some glimpses of the garden.

Broccoli, Dill, Cabbage and Potatoes facing the brunt of frost.

Update:-

Nasturtium suffered from morning frost and some top leaves are damaged. Though it is said to bounce back if faced with light freeze, precautionary i have covered it with plastic. Nothing else seemed to have been bothered by frost. Larkspur are rather enjoying it :P
