Garden Update 2013
My preparation for spring is almost over and its just the waiting and watering game now .......This season i have focused on landscaping to create a cottage garden feel with cool season annuals. Most of the annuals are self seed sown. Since January 1st we are receiving reasonable frost here in Risalpur. Here are some glimpses of the garden.
Broccoli, Dill, Cabbage and Potatoes facing the brunt of frost.
Nasturtium after frost
Cosmos
This plant is flowering since last two months non-stop(i am regularly deadheading) and seems not to care for anything frost included.
Lisianthus..i wonder if they would flower for me
Ivy Geranium
Its a matter of personal choice....absolutely nothing beats Pelargoniums
Linaria
Marigolds still going strong
Toothache plant on buds suffering from weather though
Nanthra in its fall color looks so gorgeous
and last of the Mums

Re: Garden Update 2013
Update:-
Nasturtium suffered from morning frost and some top leaves are damaged. Though it is said to bounce back if faced with light freeze, precautionary i have covered it with plastic. Nothing else seemed to have been bothered by frost. Larkspur are rather enjoying it
