tahir bhai i am in confusion what you want to say that i am late or i am fast...pls explain about maturity of vines in time :!:
@ farhan bhai i am little bit impatient in gardening or in words of tahir bhai "hasty"so i can not resist myself to sow the seeds ..even i have planted 3 babiana and 3 sparaxis bulbs for experiment..
now answers of your queies....
(1) for pot mix i am using mixture of home made compost and well rotted manure, and to cover seeds... for precious seeds i am using peat moss and for local seeds coco peat.
(2) hmmm exposure i am starting seeds on roof terrace which is in east north side meaning only morning sun for 2 hours.and my gerbera bed which is in ground is in total shade except few times light sunshine from trees.
(3)i am watering roof pots two times first in morning between 7 to 8 am and second in afternoon between 4 to 6 pm with multi shower.
and i am impressed farhan bhai with your keen observation ,. :) yes that is multicolored cricket which are common in my garden...

Hammad bhai what i meant to say was that you should have started the seeds earlier.... in spring then they would have a lot of time to mature and flower. but if you have sown just a few seeds to experiment its fine, we can learn from your experience how the seedlings take the heat.
