@ Kisana.Very large number/variety of seedlings, even without( not noticed by me)Petunia,Antirrhinum, Pansy,Mesembry,Alyssum etc- not to be missed;Kisana how much area do you have to cover? Then, aren't you a little early(or am I a bit late- yet to sow)?

yes sir although these are looking large number but half of these local seedling are for friends and relatives. remaining will be planted in beds at three places.and important seedlings will be planted in pots...seed sowing is my oldest hobby although this year i am little bit disappointed due to continuous hot weather a lot of imported seeds not germinated.

What about the other types I mentioned & the timing of sowing?

What was the sowing media beneath the coconut peat you used for imported seeds?

munir sb petunia explorer mix is only petunia i am growing this season and seedling are very small so not captured same is with calceolaria.pansy i am not growing instead i have grown viola f1 this season. alyssium i dont like and messembery is very short lived, badly affected with rains, and requires bright sunshine so a failure for me. munir sb you are not late but now a days is perfect time for seed sowing ..i was little bit impatient in seed sowing due to large number of seeds so lose many varieties.

for imported seeds i used peat moss for base and sprinkled coco peat.but as i earlier mentioned it was not media that failed but hot weather was reason behind it.

Hamad Kisana i think you should delay for a week as the weather is still hot for cool season seeds. Let the cool season weeds indicate the right time to sow. Try Petunia Prism this season.its a promising petunia.
