Zinnias are good bloomers but the colour suffer in intense heat, plus if somehow the plants get water on them they are doomed, French Marigolds are a good substitute but again both zinnias and marigolds are attacked by mites, "Jiska koi hal nai" except pesticide or if one can create a humid environment to avoid infestations in the first place :?

Petunias are in full glory these days planted in green belts here in Islamabad but will soon be replaced with French marigolds by PHA Islamabad.

I always keep Oberon for mites.Mites have started but Oberon really works.Petunia & Golds are long bloomers.

I have my doubts regarding Lady Jane, two flowers are not from the same bulb and none is Lady Jane. Both are very charming and worthy of any collection

Both are from the same bulb. The first one is on the first stalk the second one is on third stalk. I think its because of the changing temps. It first flowered for me in March & the the third is still on flowering.Just compare the temp difference sir.

Fluctuating temperatures sometimes can make a difference in appearance of a flower or colour hues at times are not captured accurately by the camera which reminds me that Khan Sahib please change either your camera or cell phone on popular demand.

Lady Jane has a very distinct shape & colour. Here are some photos of Lady Jane which just finished blooming three weeks ago.
