I think the local lavender is Jaber bin hayyan as you mentioned in an earlier post

I am also in love with roses and this passion is increasing . I wish I could manage to get them survive for three or more years, its very difficult to take care of them in monsoon and in hot summer session. Rose is indeed one of beautiful flowers to grow and it adds beauty of garden.

PS: I am happy that I planted petunias in the rose beds But I planted a few verbenias and antirrhinum too though not very colsely located.

Aoa Rafique sb have purchased the Jabbar bin hayyan from Changa,patokki.i think its one of the lavender Neptune.i don,t know am i right or am i wrong but this rose looks like Neptune.if it has 35 plus petals& is very fragrant i doubt its Neptune.

its really a difficult task to categorize or identify the roses and you have a sound knowledge about. Thanks for sharing information. If it is local bred as said by nursery man then it should be disease resistant?
