Great share refiq bhai. It's so pleasing to see your roses growing so well. Undoubtedly nothing comes close to roses in beauty, elegance and grandeur.

Could you please name the roses. I know most of them but want to be sure as so many of them look alike.

MASHAALLAH...rafique bhai i am totally surprised with your progress. in fact it is your experience and dedication for roses that you have sooo much healthy roses in Lahore climate....for me they are a big failure..hahaha. but after watching your roses i am very happy and convinced that roses can grow this healthy in our weather.great.great.great roses

Brother, I have noticed that roses are considered to be amongst the difficult plants to grow. Well, they are certainly no "Plant and Forget" type of plants but if one takes care of a few basics, they are amongst the easiest to grow. They are certainly far more easier than many bulbs or orchids or bromeliads that we attempt to grow here. Lahore is a good place to grow roses. One of the worst places to grow roses is Okara where the temperatures are severe during hot summers, humidity is high and soil is higly alkaline. All these things are higly undersirable to roses but you can see the health of my roses growing in Okara which has been pretty good. In fact almost half of the entries in rose database are pics of my own roses growing in Okara.

If one does the correct soil preparation right in the beginning, does not attempt to grow roses in pots and takes care during extreme hot / humid weather only than they thrive very well. In pots, they will have one problem or the other and it's a tall order growing roses in pots in hot climate. And undoubtedly, they are the most elegant and beautiful of all flowering plants in my view, any other flowering plant could at best be a distant second (my personal view). I would therefore say..... go ahead. It's time to buy and plant roses

Second is Blue River. (Details are there in Rose DB)
Ninth is Abu Ali Sina (Local Cultivar, will be added in DB shortly).
Tenth is About Face.(Details are there in Rose DB)

All these were planted in Dec-12. So there age will be 1 yr approximately.
