Hmm here in Islamabad/Peshawar the White & blue varieties are very easily available.i do not know the specific names as i m not a botanist hahaha.

Yesterday I repoted my Bogin. For a couple of min it was perfect but slowly the plant started wilting and now after 24 hrs I guess the story is over. Any life saving suggestions ?

did you put any fertilizer?? if no then remove all the leaves and flowers and water it thoroughly.. keep it wet for 2 days.. it will re-sprout inshaAllah

However, if you gave it any fertilizer then it will be difficult to save it..

I've been guilty of doing the same. I think you messed up the roots like I did when I transplanted my cuttings.

unfortunately,the new potting mix is a combination of fresh sand + manure. And to make sure it grows fast i added a small amount of 'kali patti ki khad' around the main root. I checked its stem, it broke with a crisp sound. Its over I guess. :roll:

Izhar is very right.do not fertilize Bogains.plant & leave undisturb.after a couple of weeks it will sprout again.this is very common with extremely drought resistant climber.i,l say it hates too much fertilizers,water & so much care.if you water bogain it ,l refuse to flower.

I grew this sago plam back in aug 2008 from bulb obtained from the mother plant. Each year it grew a pair of new leaves, last year had 3 new leaves in april and this time Mash Allah, 4 fresh leaves have emerged.
