plus i need the botanical name of dhaka grass too

Here are recent pictures of Dhaka Grass uncut for 5-7 days: On other matters, I think UMARKHANMARDAN can guide you better.However,I may add that I earlier had so called Korean & American grasses in 3 lawns,which were replaced with Dhaka grass last year about this time. I am more happy now & recommend Dhaka grass to all friends.

The American grass is not seen in USA.

It is quite possible that even Dhaka grass may not be seen/known in Dacca,BD.
Same may well be the case with Korean also.

Ha ha ha cause there is no American or Dhaka both are Bermuda grasses.Korean is the true name of the grass.Korean is the common name used through out the World.Its botanical name is Zoysia Matrella & its mating type.Korean grass is used for golf courses & is also used for grazing of the live stock.

I have found that the ordinary Talla growing on the road side is the most hardy best grass.The trick for a good lawn is more frequent mowing at at-least one inch height.

What i gather from the discussion is that Dhaka Grass being Bermuda Grass is botanically Cynodon dactylon.
American grass actually being Korean Grass is botanically known as Zoysia tenuifolia.
I have given seeds of Grass by South Africa company known as Stark-Ayres which have been planted recently and are supposedly used in soccer stadiums. Most probably they are also Bermuda grass.

The Talla is also a Bermuda grass.
