What I want to say is that naturally existing plants are the most robust plants that one can grow. If they could survive in nature without any care, they would sure respond outstandingly when given proper care.... and at minimum of cost. Only thing....... one needs to shun the biases and of course, possess an eye to identify the things and Brig sb surely has that eye.

Sir, i was of your opinion before growing it in large area... it is much softer to walk on, doesn't grow tall if you skip 2-3 mowing, it looks beautiful on its own.. it also don't invade flower beds in lawn.. you can grow plants in middle of the grass..

Three years ago my nephew living next door had his lawn re-done with Korean grass. His problem of no grass in shade remains the same not only that, I feel the local Bermuda grass has taken over the Korean.

Is it Korean grass.

What could be the reason for these burnt patches?

The American grass seems to be more dense ie more stalks per square foot than the local grass.I would be interested to know how it will look if planted in a larger area say 100 by 50 feet .Will it give a level and seamless appearance?.will an ordinary mower work? effect of extreme winter and summer temperatures.Weed problem?.How easy is it to transplant?.fertilizer and watering requirements? performance in shade ? Will appreciate an answer .Thanks
