The red one is really eye catcher.
Today I have received daylily, blue siberian, purple/yellow mixed species TB iris and vesper iris, I am completely new with Iris and daylily seeds, dont know when to plant.

The best soil for daylily and Bearded Irises is Bhul Patta mix with some perlite. If the size of the fans is healthy then they can be planted in 12-14 inch pots. They can be planted now and should be protected from the heavy downpour during the monsoons.

Two different purple plants just bloomed recently. Camera was not able to capture fully the colour which was more dark. Colour of both cultivars is same but shapes are different.

Kaleem Sahib,

It was supposed to turn into a red colour. It seems that that wrong colour was dispatched to me but i have no regrets even though the outcome turned out to be different. Hopefully in two weeks, i shall divide this colour and send you a rhizome along with the red Anne Chowning.

Please dont' mention it. I get embarrassed as there there isn't any need to thank me.

Today i met Waheed Malik Sahib and he graciously shared some of his louisiana irises. Thank you Waheed Sahib.

Part 1 of Louisiana Irises from Waheed Sahib's collection.

Khurram saheb I noticed some pots in water while the soil around one Louisiana Iris is dry. Are they flowering under both conditions or is one better than the other?

Which months are they dormant and how do you store them when dormant? When dormant do they loose all foliage in Lahore?

Once the bloom stops in your garden soil bed, are you able to plant anything around them or are you stuck with an empty soil bed for months?

Sorry for the specifics but I'm interested in growing these and just like TBI I was told the Louisiana Iris will also not flower in Lahore. My TBI are flowering so that myth has already been broken for me!
