Common local Canna which are quite tall (4-5 feet) can be planted at the back. Cleopatra Canna in front of these Canna followed by Canna President and then Canna Tropical F1 series.

This canna was gifted to me this year by a friend. Cannas tend to multiply fast and hopefully I will have enough by next year to give to those interested.

I am very happy with Tropical series.this is an out standing canna series i have seen so far.I have also planted the red foliage variety.

Plus they germinate very quickly within days if grown from seed and their height is compact. The Pink and the Scarlet are the most outstanding colours in the Takeii Tropical F 1 series. The red foliage variety being mentioned by you is "Canna President" or " Scarlet" of Tropical F1 series ?

Khurram sb itsactually the bronzed leafed scarlet tropical series. I have not sown seeds but i got some plants i think 3 of each colors from Unique nursery, Islamabad some four years back.One thing i have noted about this series, the foliage will burn in full sun.But if its in filtered sun its very out standing canna.Cannas are so beautiful i don,t know why they are not getting the right place in local gardens.
