A long time but getting the seeds to germinate is difficult and even if they do germinate it takes atleast 4-5 years for them to flower. Thus not worth doing.

Very nice blooms, a friend sent me iris seeds of moxed varities any tips on growing them and when to sow them??

Suitable time to sow would be in October but getting them to germinate would be difficult and tests even the skills of a pro.

A new shade bloomed today.

The germination is difficult just for louisiana iris or for the entire iris family the packet just says 42 different variety of irises apart from that your iris colletion is remarkable very nice blooms.

All very good colours, but the 'new shade' is real beauty, like the Amaryllis H. Mont Blanc of a resembling colour,if I remember correctly. This seems to be your favourite colour/shade.
