Re: Roses in Lahore
There is no doubt that Golden Celebration is the best David Austin shrub ever. The climate in Lahore is not so favourable for roses when compared to Islamabad or Mardan.

Excellent! Great to have another rise lover on the forum. I too love DA roses. The William Shakespeare is labelled wrong. There are two DA roses one is William shakespeare and the other is William shakespeare 2000. Both are dark red. I have the 2000. Thanks for sharing your garden.

I planted NAHEMA recently. Not yet flowered. How fragrant is the bloom when you compare to Double Delight?

Re: Roses in Lahore
You are right. The dark red shrub is William Shakespeare. Nahema if given the right feed can be real delight. I would also recommend planting "Zephrine Droughin", "Teasing Georgia", "Heritage" and "Fourth of July". There are countless other climbers from David Austin, Kourdes, Delbards and Meilland.
