Roses in Lahore

Where did you get your roses? Are they all acquired from Pakistan?

Haji Ibrahim of Changa Nursery has the largest collection of roses in Pakistan over 1200 cultivars pertaining to Delbard, Kourdes, David Austin, Meilland and various other brands. There is no point in acquiring roses from abroad. He is the most knowledge person relating to roses and has been growing roses since 1970.

Kurram you have great rose collection.i am really delighted to see so many roses in other gardens which i don,t have.Actually rose collection is so vast one can not plant every hybrid.This forum is so great.i think there should be a separate section for roses.

Absolutely agreed. And all threads related to roses in various section should preferably be shifted to Rose Section, making it easy for the rose lovers to refer to the desired information.

The pink rose is the largest rose in my collection. Flower size is around 4.5 inches. Pink pictures are of the same flower.

Winter marks the arrival of roses. Being greedy plants roses respond well to fertlisation. At this stage i haven't fertilised any of my roses.
