I have stopped growing 'Calla lilies' as their bloom time is haphazard. At times they bloom and at times remain in hibernation. I am indifferent now as to whether they bloom or not.

Sir,
In my case they are reblooming again. I haven't collected their seeds as seeds are usually sterile typically in case of tissue culture Gerbera. These can be propagated through root division after 3-4 years.

Another colour in Calla lily popped this morning. For years i had given up on them. Calla's have an unpredictable bloom period. They may choose to bloom in a particular year and skip the following year.

This is a unique and different color, have not seen any combination of baby pink and shocking pink in Calla lily before. From where have you purchased it?

Patience is a virtue I don't have, nor the calla lilies.
I must try them again, If you can grow them, why cant I.

Certainly Sir nothing is impossible. I started experimenting on Calla and then gave up on them due to their haphazard & unpredictable bloom duration. For me they don't exist and now i don't care whether they choose to bloom or not. One thing for sure i will not be buying any further callla lilies as they number of plants that have survived are considerably lesser than the ones bought.
