Rare vine with unique blooms. What is the age of this vine? I have killed my vines twice in winter seasons.

Around 2 year old which was propagated by taking cuttings. Three were given to me of which two which ended up being distributed died and only 1 so far has managed to survive and was planted in ground in August. Shall also take some cuttings around February to ensure stock is available. For some strange reason this vine tends to die after an year or two.

You are absolutely right, i had two very healthy vines in pots, they grew and bloomed well... then became dormant in winters... at the onset of summer they died... :( this time i intent to grow them in ground directly..

My initial reaction when 'Snail vine' went into dormancy was that it had gone with the end. However it managed to stage a comeback.

Around 8 or 9 seeds were sown almost a month ago and two seem to have sprouted.

Mashallah Khurram sb, what a view. BTW, few days I tried grape leaves in food. The leaves are pretty good in taste.

Since I cannot eat your grapes, can I say "Angoor khat-tay hain"? :-)
