This bulb was in my collection but i wasn't aware to of its name till it was identified by Mr. Kaleem. Turns out that the origin of the bulb is traced to Ambon island in Indonesia and it's also found in other rain forests in East Asia.
The foliage is unusual bearing some resemblance to Hostas and it performs a vanishing act by disappearing altogether during it's dormancy period. Propagation is through seeds and division only.
