Yes.. but it is used mostly for posting pictures... moreover, the rose season is finished in plains of Pakistan, that is why posting is limited...

Re: Roses - 2015
Izhar sb, thanks for clarification. Visited face book also and saw the posts filled with tourism pics of northern Pakistan. Didn't know that rose lovers go for a break during off season.
Raja sb, yes, there is nothing like planning one's garden around rose bushes.

Re: Roses - 2015
write Gardening Pakistan. That's the page but there is nothing on that page. Around 50 60 pics which are mostly related to tourism and not gardening. I don't know why those pics are there. They are beautiful but not related to gardening

Thanks Izhar sb.
Few more clicks taken this morning
Jasmina is an extraordinary rose in many respect. It's 31st May, weather is pretty warm and still there is a bunch with 24 buds on it (I counted the buds in the morning). That is simply outstanding. The bloom size has reduced a little but who cares if there are 24 of them in one cluster Love the mild sweet fragrance of Jasmina.......
An insignificant Maurice Utrillo climber growing in the backyard. Still blooming but blooms are smaller with less petals.
Even my DA William Morris is doing so well. This cluster has 13 buds on it and in a day or two, they will open up into strongly scented salmon peach blooms.

Re: Roses - 2015
And the ever faithful McCartney Rose with its typical rose scent. Despite warm weather, bloom size is still pretty good and the fragrance is still strong though not as strong as it used to be. During mid day, scent reduces significantly due to heat but is good enough during morning and evening. At night, again it reduces a great deal.
