My plants are around 15 years old and I have not bought any since. However, the nurseries alongside Shaheed e Millat Road have a good variety.

I have never grown desi gulab eiither. But, strangely, on the spur of the moment, I bought 5 of them last week
So far as money plant, I like them in hanging containers and I am training 2 large pots of them to cover a bird cage I have.

I normally mix sharp snad in cactus potting mix. Using coconut husk is a very good idea. I feed them at about one fourth of the regular strength. Would not call myself a cactus person. I have a few specimens of vaious plants.

That's the wonderful part of gardening in Karachi. I don't think you will find roses in bloom anywhere else in Pakistan.

Correction noted. Cant send the pic becuse I killed the critters by drowning. Turned the crown upside down and shortly they werre all, presumably, in hell. Have changed the soil totally and also added some sharp sand.

I forgot to mention that this particular variety is Denmoza rhodacantha

It is the season for scale insects as well. Depends on what plant you are talking about. Hibiscus is highly susceptible to both mealy bugs and scale insects. The latter are a huge threat to any plant.
