cant say much about the others but if your iceberg was from pride seeds lahore, it may be bcoz the seed was old, same happened to me here in Sialkot, weather is fine I used a mixture of compost cocopeat and sweet earth almost 1:1:1but not even a single romaine lettuce sprouted, just a few icebergsna...

wow your garden looks so well planned and healthy.I am planning on starting a vegetable garden, have lots of space, could you please share the layout of your garden, I mean like a sketch or something?Am planning on having tomatoes, next to peas as both will need support, also iceberg and romaine let...

HMMM lets see.... partly 1 as I am a beginner, but not very likely to give up as I am only doing as much as I can fit into my schedule and planting in pots is not too much work any how!!and also aspiring to be 6 may be????

when would it be a good idea to grow tomatoes in sialkot?the weather here now is hot and dry but in coming weeks it will be VERY humid as rice planting will start

sweet pepper, when to transplant????

Salam to all, my first experiment with sweet pepper the colored variety has resulted in 12 tender saplings along with two encrouchers(Watermelon that some kids next door threw in the pot thinking it was a dust bin!! :roll: ) Now peppers have 2 true leaves each should I transplant them now or wait?me...

Thank you very much this is indeed a very useful calender.I have just last week sown some sweet pepper seeds and luckily they have sprouted too, but the pots get dry more than once a day and so I have to water them upto 3 time every day, would it spoil them?I am in Sialkot so the weather is Very hot...
