Re: Bromeliads
Syed, The plant flowers only once and then makes offsets but the original plant then dies off. They multiply very quickly. Leave the babies and they will flower in a year or two. Very soon you will have a lot of plants from the original plant and you will not even notice the dead plants. The dead pl...

Re: Tilandsia
Farooq, Tilandsias do not need much attention. The most attention mine gets is when I admire their growing techniques every few months. The common name is Air Plant because they take moisture from the air and that is how they thrive. I suggest you put yours in a tree in shade all day and for your he...

Re: Bromeliads
Mustansir, A young plant will take about 3 years to flower but from there it grows offsets which flower in one or 2 years. They have very few and small roots because they also grow in trees like the Tilandsias I posted yesterday. The two are related but grow in shaded areas. They are watered in the ...

Re: Tilandsia
Hammad, I planted them on the tree. This how they grow in habitat. Watch out for the post coming soon of my Clivia planted in the same tree where 3 branches meet and growing soil-less but the roots are covered with fine pieces of the bark from this tree. The plant is starting to flower. It is growin...

Re: Hymenocallis advance
Mustansir,
No, it is not Spider Lily but is commonly called Peruvian Daffodil as Tahir mentioned. This one is related to Ismene Sulphur Queen which was bred from this one.
Munir,
Pancratium maritimum is referred to as Sea Daffodil.

Re: Cyrtanthus brevifloris
Mikhurram,
Try growing them in some early morning sun and feed often.
Munir,
No, they are not from the rain lily family. I have posted a few Cyrtanthes Mackenii flowers which are tubular.

Farhan,
It is a beauty. It is so small that I had to get down on my tummy to take a photo. There is a white one too but I do not have one yet.
