Miss Farah 5" width container is too small, with this small width u can just sow coriander and mints. I also suggest u plz avoid to sow in plastic container bcoz it leaching harmful toxins into the soil, water, plants and eventually our body.

last month i were also sowed vegetables in containers like spinach, garlic, mints, saag, fenugreek, coriander, tomatoes, green chilies and surprisingly mostly are growing very very well. Specially coriander and mints.

Dear Members In this current month i have attempted 3 times to sow lettuce seeds in containers but unfortunately i failed to germinate lettuce seeds. After sowing the seeds i also cover the container with plastic sheet but nothing were happened. So plz give your solicited advise what i have to do......
