@Mughal113, Have you ever grown any species of Epiphyllum/Cereus? I have just a couple of Epis. Got the cuttings a couple of months back. They are growing well but there is a long way till they flower. I think epis require just too much care which I'll fail to give them. So I try to stray away from...

In my limited experience, a cold and relatively winter, a doze of fertilizers at the start of spring and lots of spring/early summer sun seem to help these plants with flowering. The plants I kept in partial shade during spring seem to struggle with flowering.

Most of the flowers (like astros) last for a single day. Some only one night (like echinopsis, night blooming cereus). Others (e.g. Gymnos) last many days.
