@mirafzalkhan, I don't have any close ups. I will take a close up picture when I come across it next time. Any idea what is its local name? Botanical names are hard to remember. You need to have a chemist's memory to remember their names:)

I have water lily plants in pots, which are not submerged in water. They do bloom in hot summers but flowers remain for a couple of days. I planted some plants where our water tank releases excess water. These plants are more stronger greener than their counterparts in dry pots.

This is a very common hanging plant in Pakistan, but no nursery staff in Jhelum stocks it. I am posting its photo. Help will be appreciated.

Nice birds. To talk of peacocks, I kept a pair of Indian blue but failed to breed. The pea hen would give a lot of eggs but they never hatched. I guess she used to give decoy eggs. I kept them under the hens, in incubators, but nothing fruitful ever occurred to me. The peacock died after my eating l...
