Yes! I use 2 part bhalo soil and 2 part well rotted manure(ojri ki khaad) and it works best for me.

My thoughts are that you are over watering...

Spray any general pesticide daily for 3-4 days then spray every week. An organic solution is to mix Neem oil in water and spray over leaves
