I made a cross between Amaryllis Belladonna x Nerine bowdenii four years ago and this is the first of the plants to flower in May last year. The flowers are larger than Nerine and has a similar flower head as the Amaryllis Belladonna and has the sparkle in the tepals like the Nerine.

Here are the parents. The first photo is of Amaryllis Belladonna, known by the common name belladonna lily, March lily, naked lady, and the second photo is a Nerine bowdenii.

Heinie, you seem to have exceptional skills in making hybrid plants. Would you mind writing a short tutorial for this forum?
