All of my football lilies bloomed and faded together. I wonder if it is possible to stager their blooming so that I can enjoy it for a longer period. Any advice?

I agree with Izhar on this.

The bulbs remain dormant in ground and on a given day the new growth starts. If you pull out the bulbs and replant them by any interval before this given day, the new growth will start the same day and they will bloom at the same time.
As I cannot know that day, next time I will plant some as usual, some on showing of the growing tip and so on. It should be an interesting experiment.

Would that make a diff if we keep some of them in the dark?
