Easily available flowers in Karachi

Post by Wajiha »

Dear All,
Aoa,
I am a paper maker by profession and in constant need of different fibrous plants and flowers for my papers.
I'd appreciate if any one here can help me find flowers which are easily available or I can grow at home for this purpose.
Something that doesn't fade out with the passage of time.I've worked with rose petals and bougainvillea leaves but both tend to bleed chlorophyll when submerged in wet pulp.
Looking forward to a discussion regarding this.
Thankyou

Dear Mr. Irfan and S.Ahmed,
Yes I am a Paper maker by profession and the link you've posted is exactly what we do.We run a small setup of Hand Paper Making called "Kaghaz Kay Karnamay" where we produce paper using different fibers including papers and organic fibers. These papers are used both for writing and decorative purpose.I'd appreciate if anyone here can help us pick the right florals.
