Right time to seperate over crowded Amaryllis

Needd advice regarding my over crowded amaryllis in pots. Many varieties has produced abundent of bulblets n the same r in blooming size now n needs to be seperated. In which month of the year may I seperate thm?

What is over crowding for you?
More than how many in a 14 inch pot would be over crowding?

I seperated mine this year after about 2 years or maybe 3. The bulblets were at the point where they were being pushed/crowded at the edge of the pots.

Well abt 4-5 bulbs in 9 inch pot. The mother bulb has conaiderably swelled.

Just re-pot in 14 inches pots and enjoy the blooms of clumps
