It is spider lily Hymenocallis species. I love it's fragrance too...like that a perfumed wet tissue paper.Faisal Riaz wrote:It has very beautiful fragrance..................

I love the fragrance of hymenocallis.. which was sold to me as "Crinum pink" by chanandin seeds...

Izhar, I have never seen lily seeds fertilize. Just curious about the biological reason. Hymenocallis anthers shed tons of pollen and the stigma is quite exposed. I guess it is my misconception that lilies could only be proparated by bulbs. I have seen the seeds quiet often from hymenocallis and crinums, they are very large 1-1.5 inches in diameter, pale green... but i usually cut the stalks right after the flowering is finished.. i will try to pollinate the flowers next time...
