it may be malaysia palm or chalia(arica palm). i am not 100% sure.but it is very much seen in karachi nurseries.

no I think its no where near Date palm, its Alexandra Palm/Ravenea Palm and I also have this Palm at my place but its around 4 to 5 years old

No hammad pro i think its not ravenea palm,,,,, it leaves are soft like foxtail palm......

actually so far it has only two leaves so its hard to say if its Fox tail Palm because foxtail leaves are a bit different, give it a little time let it produce one or two more leaves then the figure will be more clear but I still have a strong feeling for Ravenia Palm/ Alexandrae Palm but lets see :)

I think its Manila/Christmas palm. A common plant in Karachi, grows quite tall and produces fruits throughout the year which turn red.

Its Malaysian palm.its very common in Karachi.In the Northern region its brought along other plants from Karachi.Many plants which survive in Karachi normally die here in North.Malaysian is those few palms which do not survive in North.Red palm also does not survive here.its also brought by the nursery men in summer month to attract people.These are the local names for these palm trees.
Plese note that Red palm is the bottle palm.The bottle palm sold here is the finest palm tree The Royal palm.
