Hi all
there is a type of tiny plants with many different shaded flowers. They are sold in Karachi by the name "office time". Come in two varieties, one with cylinderical leaves, around 10 different shades of flowers. Other variety has flat leaves, 4-5 different shades of flower.
The problem is when I search the net I couldnt find anything by this name.So can anybody tell me what its actually called?
There is another plant with aromatic leaves called mushk-e-amber. Does anybody know its botanical name?
Thanks

Re: Office time, mushk-e-amber?
"Office time" with needle like succulent leaves is Portulaca grandiflora. The one with flat leaves is called purslane; it is also belongs to Portulaca genus but the species is different.
The so called "mushk-amber" plant in Karachi with silvery/ greyish leaves is Artemisia sp.

Farooq

Seeds are available too in packets. The common name in Karachi lingo is "office time" although this is probably not common in English speaking countries; Portulaca and Purslane are more common.
