Hope for the better, post a clearer macro pic of the leaves so correct identification is possible and to avoid future mishap remove the plant from the area.

I posted your plant picture in another botanical forum but unfortunately, nobody could identify it properly. I wish you had flowers. My feeling is that it is from the Solanaceae (potato, raat ki rani family). Someone who identified this plant said it was probably Solanum laxum. I don't completely agree with him. Anyway, plants in the Solanaceae family are pretty toxic. Even potatoes which have green patches (naturally) are said to be harmful.

The easy way to rule out Nerium (kanair) is by pulling off a leaf from the plant- if greenish sap starts dripping, then it is related to kanair. I don't think that it is kanair.

If you crush the leaves, do the leaves have an unpleasant smell?

True, all plants produce flowers but I guess your plant didn't get the right conditions to produce flowers :-(.

The pungency leaves make me think it is Clerodendron (if you remember dam-dam used for hedges, they leaves have extremely bad bitter odor)
Compare the leaves?
