I want to know the proper sceintific name of chinese lemon tree. I live in the USA and want to plant the chinese lemon tree that we used to have in Pakistan. I am trying to see if I can get a seed or plant from a nursery here. However, I am unable to identify the exact name to search for. It seems like chinese lemon is just a local name used in Pakistan for this variety and not a recognized scientific name. Is kaghzi lemon different from chinese lemon?

By the way, the varieties we have commonly available in the USA have a very thick skin and I do not like that.

Thank you Kaleem Sahib for providing us with the proper scientific name in Mandarin dialect mostly spoken in China. In Cantonese dialect the proper scientific name is displayed below.

On a serious note the dwarf chinese lemon variety may be a dwarf hybrid form of Meyer lemon which originated from China. I suggest contacting the lemon society based in USA by showing them the pictures of the Chinese lemon variety grown widely in Pakistan. Hopefully they might be able to identify this variety by glancing at the images. Below are some pictures of Chinese lemon growing in my garden.
