Re: ID please
That is really beautiful. It looks like Iris confusa.
A tip for plant name finders...Google image search is an excellent option for plant ids when a nice flower close up such as Javed sb's flower is posted. Upload the flower closeup (minimize the background, leaves etc.), write the "family name" or if nothing is known write "flower" and do a image search. Then result is often productive.

Re: ID please
Thank you Farooq sb and all other fellows for help and for nice words.
Actually I went to Haripur with my friends and colleagues, but as you all know! We are worm of plants. My friends visite PTCL industry and I went out for exploring nurseries.
Found nothing special but bought four Hydrangea plants, one Amaryllis bulb and this iris blindly.
Nursery man asked 250 for Amaryllis bulb and iris pot and I paid him 200, as both were without blooms and when some one is buying blindly then always try to bargain.
But this iris give me blooms firstt and also has won my heart.
This is the story behind this blind and tresury purchase.

Re: ID please
I visited Haripur a couple of months ago on my way back from Abbottabad. I found that there were some good nurseries with very attractive prices astride main road. I was surprised to find that rates of plants brought from Pattoki were less as compared to those here in Rawalpindi/Islamabad.. This Iris flower is a good find.Pl share some more pics.
