Received this as a gift. Could you tell me it's name? Is it a shrub or a tree? should I keep it in pot or plant in ground. Thanks

Its Pink Trumpet vine..

Podranea Ricasoliana (Pink Trumpet Vine) is a woody vine without tendrils, but you can easily maintain it as a shrub by regular hard pruning. Pink Trumpet Vine is best suited in ground.
