I came across this lemon at someone's house who had bought it from Lahore Nursery and is known as the 2 or 3 kg Lemon but its not worth growing as the taste is bit queer and cannot be compared to other lemon varieties having higher yields e.g Australian variety locally known as the royal lemon variety but Chinese lemon variety without any doubt is the best in terms of prolific fruiting and taste.

Saeed, Yes it is a big one, comparison with the chines

mikhurram,
Yes chines is most prolific but to me it is nothing compared to our old Dasi in taste and flavour.

Today I will cut it and see its properties, by tapping it sounds hollow.

Personally I like this (name I know not). It is big, size of a Kinno has good flavour, seedless and is very juicy.

Brig Sahib,

True that the taste of desi lemon is unrivalled. The 2 to 5 Kg lemon variety i was referring is much bigger than than photos posted above.
