Stephanotis blooming in lawrence gardens. Lots of blooms but keeping in view the age of vine(mature), not enough flowers. Fragrance was very intense and awesome. Was just wondering, in the absence of humidity and no care, how come it is flowering in this intense heat of May.

Actually variegated is in full sun and more flowers. While the normal one has less flowers as it is in partial shade. I had always thought the variegated ones are slower in growth but it was much larger and bigger specimen. May be planted earlier than the normal one.

Any one know where I can get a dwarf stephanotis floribunda in Lahore? I know Wahab nursery had a Thai import they called a dwarf marwa but it was already sold. Could that dwarf marwa be the stephanotis floribunda?

AOA

"marwa" is actually Murraya paniculata. as seached on net http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murraya_paniculata
In local nurseries here in lahore there are two or three varities.
1.local or desi marwa 2. china marwa(small variety) 3. australian marwa?
About third variety i am not sure because as per nursery man
its australian marwa,i purchased it but not sure that its desi marwa or australian?
Leaves resembles to the plant displayed in the link above.
