I go to the USA and I'm not sure which state has what rule about seeds from overseas. I have not found seed vendors in USA which carry P odoratissimus seeds or even some of the rarer bauhinias.

Try Hawaii, they must have these tropical plants... and you should buy a wood-rose as well. That's another rare commodity. Have you ever tried Amazon?

Pandanus odoratissimus is not on amazon or eBay. Hawaii pandanus is different. If you find rare bulbs on eBay the seller is usually shipping from outside the USA. Bohat nazuk soorat-e-haal hai ....... :D

The month of November is about to begin and it dawned upon me that Alstonia Scholaris a native evergreen tree tends to bear clusters of white flowers around end of November or in the first two weeks of December and its flowers are exceptionally fragrant which could simply be described as breathtaking on a crisp winter morning. The duration of the flowering time is around 2 or 3 weeks.

Has anyone else experienced its fragrance?

Salam everyone.
I have just joined this forum and my interest is to have a hassle free but highly fragrant garden.
Through this thread I found out a few flowers that have a very nice fragrance. So I went to a nursery today and the man there told me plumeria has no smell and that champa smells like medicine. :( :( :(
I have searched GardenGeek.com and they have also mentioned how nice they smell. But I have visited a few nurseries here in rawalpindi and they all say the smell is very slight. They didn't have a booming plant that I could smell for myself so...

Plumeria are extremely fragrant. In the common local varieties the white one is most fragrant. I think it's the dark pink local one which is not fragrant.
