Re: Attempting to grow from seeds
Some plants cannot be grown from seed in Karachi and if they do they will look dormant or last for some weeks only like Daisy, Grapes etc. For this purpose Islamabad and other northern city's temperature is best. But on the contrary there are several benefits also that like some plants and trees can only be grown in the temperature like Karachi like Coconut palm, Dates Palm etc. That is a natural balance.

Re: Attempting to grow from seeds
Don't know about zinnia but strawberries, Rasberries and Roses seeds can not sprout here. They need chilled weather for there germination. Other than that these seeds can be bought from Empress Market or the shops infront of Askari park but these will be hardly available.Madiha Humbal wrote:can u please tell me if can grow strawberries, raspberries, zinnia and roses from seeds. if yes what is the best time to sow them. and if there is any one from karachi can you please tell me where i can find the seeds for the above mentioned plants.
